Haters are all those that laughed at your plans to start your business. You know who I’m talking about. Everyone in your life that you have ever befriended or been on opposite sides, maybe some friends or maybe someone you cross paths with. The people that doubted you would become successful. They’re the coworkers that can’t see any value in your input. It’s the girl in college that decided to leave you for someone who thought would be her ticket to glory and take for face value that only jocks are destined to succeed. Haters are the ex’s that were never able to see value in your union. They’re the bosses that laugh at your suggestions. Haters are all those that took you for granted. They were never willing to bet or back you up on any of your ideas. Haters are those around you that want to bring you down or paint you as a negative person just because you’re successful and happy.
List them all and keep amending that list. Add people to the list, take some off. The list will be a living entity you need to carry through your life. When you suddenly feel that you just want to quit what you’re doing. When obstacles seem too great to overcome. Pick-up the list, look at it, and use the name on the list to convey the feelings that want to make you scream. They have never lifted a finger to help you on your journey. Know inside you that these people have contributed to putting you down through your life. They have laughed and ridiculed you in front of others for the goals and values you have.
Anger is what will push you over the top. Rage will create the urge inside you to break through any barrier. It’s what wins a tennis tournament when your body is screaming in pain to stop when you’re so close to victory. It’s what will help you through all the negative talk you receive regarding your projects. It will keep you warm when you will feel all alone fighting the status quo. Anger will push you towards your goals that everyone is telling you’re wrong at it will never work. When you’re the odd person out, that feeling will surge in you and you will suddenly feel invincible as you’re backed by thousands.
Anger is a scream before the last push-up. Anger is the tear that rolls down your cheek at night when you can’t sleep wondering, what the hell am I doing, where they right?
Rage increases the flow of adrenaline in your body, it creates an adrenaline rush. Medical News Today writes, “As well as allowing a quick escape from danger, adrenaline has other effects on the body … sharpening mental focus, which will allow a person to think quickly and form a clear plan to escape a potential threat.”
So, whenever you feel down and want to give up. Take that list out and take a look at it. Written down are all those that thought and still think you won’t make it. Feel deep inside you the pain that this brings you knowing they don’t support you. Get it right, they don’t support you. Use that energy to fuel your desire to succeed and create the life you want. Go against all odds and challenge whoever gets in your way of achieving your goals.
Go all in, believe in yourself and accomplish everything you set your mind to as long as you’re willing to pay the price of greatness. Because along the way, you will always find someone that will turn events against you. Let them be and remember their names, that’s the only thing you can do. Once at the top of the mountain, turn around and look behind you. Each and every person on your list that tried to stop you, have you quit or convince you you’re wrong will suddenly want to be part of your team and preach to all: I always knew he would do great in life.
Look at your haters as fuel to keep pushing forward no matter what. You can’t control what they do, but you control how you react and take action. Now, scream and win all your tournaments.
