Find the Light in Your Heart.
It’s Christmas Eve and we’re on the tail end of the second decade of the 21st century. A new decade is dawning on us. New promises are made, and resolutions will be shouted out loud. We will hug and kiss those close to us. Good health and success is thrown around like its free currency.
Doesn’t this scenario sound like a broken record? Before reaching for the cliché phrases in this holiday season, why not stop and try to put some weight into the words spoken. Instead of just saying them, stop for a few minutes and look around you. See the people that are in your life and feel those that have passed on but are still in your heart and mind. Extend your thoughts to those that don’t have the opportunity to celebrate. Take each word and paint them with the gratitude they deserve. Reach deep down in your heart and feel all the joy, love, happiness and gratefulness.
All the gifts in the world will never outweigh the heartfelt wishes you send out into the world. Our time on this blue planet is limited. Wherever we are in our lives, please don’t fall for the usual best wishes that are forgotten by the end of January. Instead make those wishes a permanent staple of your gratitude toward all living things on earth. Make your resolutions a 365-day affair. Huge those close to you and don’t waste your time complaining you don’t see each other often enough. Make those moments the most memorable you can and be grateful to have them with you. Forgive those that have wronged you. Also light a candle in your heart for the people that passed away and keep feeling their energy in you.
I ask from all who read this, please open your hearts to that inner child and let it run free and make this joyful season a yearlong event.
Peace and Love to all!
